New Release Snow Globe and Glitter Challenge

Brrrr!

Okay, today when I woke up and my phone told me it was 1 degrees outside I thought my phone had to be broken, but it wasn't.  Sure enough, it was 1 degree outside and now it is up to 8 degrees.  These are children ages not tempatures for outside. *gigl*  I can hear my grandmother say, "baby, it needs to be this cold to kill off all the germs."  I hear ya grandma.  I will stop complaining now. :-)

Okay, today I bring you a beautiful Fairy in a Snow Globe from ADFD.  This image is part of the ADFD's new releases this week "Snow Globes."  It is also challenge Friday so we are asking that you add glitter (you can use Stickles, glitter paper or embellishments) to your project to make it shine.  Here's my creation using this lovely image and glitter...

I don't know if you can see it, but I used Stickles on the Fairy's wings.  I also used clear glaze for the snow globe itself to make it look like glass.  I actually cut my image off the original base and added it to this base.  The swirly design is a svg I cut out (along with the base) using my Cricut machine and my Make the Cut software.  I love this software and I love svgs.

Recipe:
Image:  ADFD's Fairy in a Snowglobe
Ink:  Copics
CS/DP:  SU
Accessories:  Ribbon-SU, CTMH Clear Glaze and Stickles

You can pick these precious images up from the ADFD store (along with the entire set). While you are there color one of them up and enter your creation in our "Glitter" challenge for a chance to win a $12 store credit. You can also check us out on FB, CDAC, PCP, and the Crafter's Cafe.

Now get to creating...

Remember: There are no mistakes in cardmaking, only opportunities for creativity!
