What's Cook'in??

Greetings!

Since I have been "pinning" on Pinterest I've been cooking A LOT more than before.  I made beef stew last weekend and a recipe I came up with on my own called Candy's Cream Corn Cornbread muffins. Lol...say that fast a few times. I have never been able to make edible cornbread (I inherited this shortfall from my Dad).  Sooo, I had my little sister who is studying to be a Chef to make up the mixture and I added a 1/2 cup of cream style corn.  I was pleasantly surprised how it made the muffins moist and rich with flavor.

Okay, well enough about cooking.  I say all this to share with you my card I made using Birdie Brown's Chef images.

I used SU designer paper and cardstock that I emobssed with Tim Holtz's brick embossing folder.  I used Copics to color the images and chose not to color the faces to make the other parts of the image pop.  The negative circles was made using Spellbinder's Circle diecut.

Thanks for looking!

Now get to creating...

Remember:  There are no mistakes in cardmaking, only opportunities for creativity!

  1. Cute! This would be an adorable cover for a recipe book or even converted the other way for a recipe box! Glad your cornbread came out well; I'm a fan of Jiffy myself...
