Cuddly Buddly - Pachela Studios "Exciting News"

Greetings!

Happy Saturday!  Yep, it is official Winter is back from its vacation here in Michigan.  Wowzer it turned brrrr quick!  My sinuses have been going bonkers yesterday and today.  The upside to the cold weather is that I don't want to be outside-so more time indoors to create!  I'm always trying to find the silver lining. :-)
Today, I want to share with you one of the most A-dorable little images that I've had the pleasure of playing with.  Actually, I think that all of the Cuddly Buddly - Pachela Studios images are adorable.  I used "Exciting News" today to create my card.  I had this little cutie and a few more PS images for a while and have recently been trying to pull them out and use them.  If you have never visited the Cuddly Buddly store, you should because they have a lot of talented artist and items.

Here's my creation...

"You've Got Mail"
I started this card out with a 6x6 scalloped card base.  I layered on SU cardstock and CTMH dp.  I had some brownish-copper netting that I layered and a diecut leaf that I outlined using Gold Stickles.  I cut my circles out using Spellbinder's eyelet and circle dies.  I added a handwritten sentiment and went around the card with a white gel pen to add faux stitching.  Lastly, the image was colored using Copics.  I colored the squirrel and popped him on top of the colored background.  I wanted him to really stand out.  I know it is a lot of colors, but they are all FALL colors so I think it works. :-)

Thanks for looking and commenting.

Now get to creating...

Remember:  There are no mistakes in cardmaking, only opportunities for creativity!
