Mo's DP2 Challenge: Lace or Ribbon ("Hugz" )

Greetings!

I am thankful it is Friday!  It has been a long week.  We started the week off in the high 50s and now we are back down in the teens.  My garage door froze to the ground yesterday so it started off as very eventful Thursday. lol  Anyways, I survived and managed to make it to work.  Glory be to God!!

Today, I am sharing with you a card I made for Mo's DP2 Challenge this week, which requires the use of r lace or ribbon.  I used this adorable image "Benji and Bear."  I think this little guy is so cute.  He reminds me of my little nephew Caden (who turns 3 on Wednesday), but with more hair.

Here's Benji and his bear...

Hugz

I started out with a 6x6 Kraft cardstock base and layered blue SU cardstock on top.  I then cut two 5" strips of the same blue cardstock and layered more dp on top.  I matted my image on top of a yellow cardstock circle cut using my Spellbinder's die.  My image was colored using Copic markers.  I finished off with wooden word tiles, yellow ribbon from Michaels and some buttons.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
