Beccy's Bicycle Blossom

Greetings!

Happy April 1st and April's Fool Day!!  lol  I hope that if someone plays a prank on you it is funny and serves only to brighten your day even more.  I told you yesterday that I had some more exciting news to share so here goes.  I have the honor of serving as a Guest Designer for Beccy's Place Design Team.  I am really excited about this, because like Paulette at Create with TLC, Beccy is a very generous and kind-hearted person.  You know the old saying, "be mindful of the company that you keep," well I know that I am in good company working with these two ladies.

Today, is the new release of Beccy's Bicyle Blossom set (say that fast 5 times-teehehe).  I love this set because it reminds me of Spring.  I want to purchase a bike and start riding.  I haven't rode a bike since I was...well...let's just say it has been a while and leave it at that. :-)

Here's my creation using this awesome set...

Bicycle Blossom frame
I decided to create a frame, because I needed something cheerful and bright for my desk.  Keeping with the bicycle theme I used Little Bicycle designer paper to cover the wooden frame.  I then layered on purple and green swirls and added flowers.  As you can see this set comes with lots of sentiments, so I used 3 of them to create a little reminder/motivational wordart.  I used my Cameo to cut out the bike and colored it using Copics.  I went back over some of the flowers with a gel pen and Spica glitter markers.  I adhered the bike using 3D pop dots.  I think this creation will put a smile on the grumpiest face. :-)

You can pick up this set (and many others) by visiting Beccy's Place store and check out other creations from the design team and guest designers on Beccy's Place blog.  Tell her Candy sent you. :-)

Thanks for looking and commenting!
