Mo's Kimono for DP2 "Furry Friends" Challenge

Greetings!

Happy first Monday in October!  I guess it is officially time to get started on those Christmas cards.  Yikes!  Well, they will have to wait a little while longer, because I'm just not ready. lol  Before I show you my creation using Mo's Kimono, I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Cheryl Joshua of My Card Haven for the wonderful goodies she sent me this past weekend.  I have used some of the papers for my creation.  Cheryl was assisting in raising funds for Lyndall and I purchased digis to help out.  You probably have seen other blogs that were doing the same.  Well, I am glad that I could help out in some small way.

Okay, I don't know if you guys do this or how often, but I decided to take inventory of my "Mo" digis.  I did this for two reasons.  The first reason is because I won the DP2 challenge last week and didn't want to get a duplicate image.  Second reason for this was because I kept seeing cards that I made a long time ago using certain images, but couldn't recall where the images went. lol  I managed to get some of my "Mo" images in a folder and am still on a quest to locate the others.  Well, this quest led me to the Kimono image I used in this creation.  I hadn't seen her for a while and thought she would fit this challenge perfectly.  The paper became my inspiration for the entire card, which rarely happens to me.  I can't thank Cheryl enough for sending me this beautiful package.

Well, thank you for stopping bye.  I hope your Monday is peaceful and filled overflowing with happiness!!

Now get to creating...

Remember:  There are no mistakes in cardmaking, only opportunities for creativity!

P.S. I have all my digi's on a thumb drive just in case my computer crashes, I also have them saved in a folder in a word document, this way they are all in one place and I can see what I have when i design a card. Hope this helps and you find some of your. Also try your download section of your computer..you have to download them someplace..

  3. Hi Candy!
You did a great job with Mo's Kimono Girl, beautiful colorwork and papers. Oh, it's so great to have friends who send you goodies:) Also, love the shape of your card!
I also have problems with my digital images. Never seem to find them all. I have 3 computers so you can realize the mess. But I had this idea to put some of them in a Word document and then sent the file to my hubby's e-mail. Thus, I always have them in my sent e-mails and it is always there no matter what.
Hope this gives you some ideas:)
Thanks for taking the time to play along at Mo's this week too!
    Hugs, Iulia
