I hope your Friday is going well. I am enjoying my Friday (although I am at work), because the sun is shining and I can watch the Geese family across the pond having a good time. Can't help but put a smile on your face. Today I am sharing a card I made and I am dedicating it to me. I know that may sound vain; however, lately I have been dealing with some health related life hiccups (what I call them). These minor setbacks have really made me begin to appreciate life and all that it encompasses. I know in a world where we are trained to want (and sometimes get) things in lighting speed time, I don't want to forget to take a moment and take it all in.
I used a Robert Jackson's Digital Expressions image for my card and named it "Knee Mails," which are the only kind of mail that God answers. When we take a moment to get on our knees and pray those life hiccups are less disruptive.
Here's my card...
I used SU red cardstock for my base and Bazzill black cardstock mounting layers. I stitched on the dp and used Copic colors R35 and R37 (for her dress) and W1 and W3 for the edging on the image. The flowers and glass beads are from Wild Orchids and I just colored them with R35 Copics and added a little stickles for sparkle. I used SU punches for the sentiment that I created on my computer as well as the leaves. I used a flourish from Cheery Lynne cut from the red cardstock. I hope this card serves as encouragement and a reminder. *smile*
