More Creations…
Hello everyone,
My Mojo is working overtime today. Here are some cards I did using Mo’s images, sentiments (expect one) from Create w/TLC and Copics.
More Super Girls…
I loved this image when I bought it and now that Paulette @ Create w/TLC has created two awesome sentiments to go with it, I can’t stop using it. Here they are in purple and blue…
Kansas…
Sometimes there is no place like home. I’ve added my own twist to Dorothy and Toto’s popular tale by putting her in green and yellow. I believe these colors compliment each other so well…inspired by Sprite’s lemon and lime colors. However, I had to stick with the red shoes, because it is Dorothy after all. I added some liquid pearls for accent and created my sentiment on the computer.
Dancing…
I have always love to dance. Dancing to me allows you to be free. Last night I went to a Toby Mac and Chris Tomlin concert and boy did I dance. I praised the Lord and danced away all my stress and worries. This card represents how I see myself if I would have pursued dance. I would most definitely have been a prima ballerina…
Well, that is all that I have for now. I will probably create more, because I am on a roll, but will post them later. I truly appreciate you looking at my work and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do.

Remember: There are no mistakes in card making, only opportunities for creativity.Super Girl!
I firmly believe that every little girl (and boy) needs someone to look up to. Someone who can inspire and encourage them to be the best they can be. However, sometimes these “role models” are not always easy to find. Therefore, they must find the superhero within. This card was inspired by a sentiment I got from Create w/TLC and this adorable image from Mo’s Digital Pencil.
I used Copics to color this cutie and the cardstock is a generic paperstack that I got from Michaels.

Fairy Wonderful
This card is one of my favorites. I absolutely love this cute fairy from Mo’s Digital Pencil Too and the perfect sentiment from Creations w/TLC. Her little bum is what makes this card toothache sweet. *gigl*
As usually, I used Copic markers to color her and the cardstock is from Bazzill. The DP is from SU and I added some heart gem embellies.
I hope you love her as much as I do. TFL.

My Cards
I hope that your day is going as well as my day is going. The sun is shining and it is gorgeous outside. I wanted to post a few cards that I created, but haven't put them on my blog. I make so many cards and I'll post them on Splitcoastsstampers or Paper Craft Planet, but forget to add them to my blog. *gigl*
Anyway, I hope that you like them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

My birthday post
Greetings!
Today is my birthday! I am proud to say that the good Lord above has allowed me to see 38 years. I am so thankful. I awoke this morning thanking God for a sound mind. I hear so many people talk about their parents having Alzheimer and Dementia and I’m just thankful that I know who I am and where I am when I woke up.
We should never take this for granted, because a mind is truly a terrible thing to waste. You could have a million dollars, but if you don’t know you have it what good is it.
Well, I’m off to enjoy the day! Blog with you later. TFL.

Merging images using MS Word
I created the following toot below to illustrate how to merge images using MS Word.
Just click on the link Using MS Word to merge images. Also, after you have made the images transparent, you can then move them around until you have your desired layout.
Here’s a card I created by merging two images from Mo’s Digital Stamps. TFL.

My 1st Birthday
I am not posting any pics today, but instead wanted to share with you the story of how I ended up with 2 birthdays (yes 2!). As you have probably read in my profile, I come from a large family. My sibilings and I tend to laugh at the fact that each and every one of our birth certificates has a mistake on it. My birth certificate has the wrong birthdate. My mother claims (with great certainity) that I was born on June 15th; however, my birth certificate states June 9th. Therefore, I celebrate both days. I celebrate June 9th quietly by myself and the 15th with friends and family.
Having two birthdays fits my Gemini personality perfectly! I have always followed the motto that "two is better than one." Therefore, I've gotten two Associate degrees and two Bachelor degrees. I truly believe that having two of something brings order and balance to your life.
Anyway, that is my story (and yes I am sticking with it).

Create w/ TLC
“Fish Out of Water” Challenge
Greetings:
Below is the card I created for Create w/ TLC’s “Fish out of Water,” challenge. I used a technique called paper piecing (not to be confused with paper piercing). I will post a toot on this technique. It is very easy.
The materials I used for this card are:
DP (designer paper) entitled Fish out Water by Create w/TLC
Copic Markers
Fish bowl charm (came with various other charms)
Cuttlebug embossing folders
Sizzix Fish bowl diecut with accessories
Thanks for visiting,
Candy
Remember there are no mistakes in card making, only opportunities for creativity.Mo’s Digital Pencil Challenge
Greetings:
This is my entry for this week Mo’s Challenge Blog. The challenge was to merge two (or more) of Mo’s images. I decided to use Mariko is Mad and Lacie’s Ice Cream. I actually put the two together by mistake while I was arranging some other digis. Nevertheless, they do work well together. When I looked at them I thought that Mariko was mad, because she decided to trade her ice cream cone for Lacie’s bunny rabbit. She then later regretted that trade and there were no take-backs so life isn’t always fair.
I think because Mo is a author her artwork always tells a story. Her customers are lucky because we get to interpret that story however we please. Below please find my interpretation of Life…isn’t always fair. TFL
Thanks,
Candy

Create w/ TLC DT Call
Good evening!
As you have probably noticed I have made a few changes to my blog. I hope you like it! Leave a comment…share your thoughts.
Speaking of sharing…I wanted to share with you a card that I created for multiple reasons. I told you how I won a challenge over at Create w/TLC, well now Paulette (the owner) is having a DT call and I would love to be a part of her awesome team. Therefore I created the card below, which I call “Rocky Road Cool Cream.”
Here’s a list of materials I used:
DP (Designer Paper) called Rocky Road is from Create w/TLC
Sentiment “You’re way Cool” from Create w/TLC
MS Punch
Cardstock from Core’dinations
Digi is from Mo’s Digital Pencil too
The other reason that I created this card was because I wanted to challenge myself to use the Rocky Road color combo (also from Create w/TLC) below to make a card.
I believe that I accomplished this challenge. You should give it a try. Use the color combo above and create your own Rocky Road masterpiece. Paulette has Rocky Road digital paper over at her store. You can also grab her other color combo swatches and other freebies by visiting her store. Be sure to leave a comment, because she has quickie challenges and random drawings. You don’t want to miss out on those.
Well, I’ll let you know whether or not I made the cut. I think it would be a cool bday gift. *wink wink*
