Greetings!
Happy Friday! I laugh as I sit here posting about Christmas in 90 degree weather. lol Anyways, over at ADFD we are celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with Tammy's adorable images. I chose to use various little stocking stuffer images. They are too cute and were the perfect addition to my fireplace scene from AR.
Be sure to check out the BLOG to see all of the dts ADFD Christmas projects! Here are just a few of our Christmas images. You can view the full line in the “HOLIDAY” section of the shop!
I used Tim Holtz brick embossing folder to add some brick like texture to my fireplace scene. I will most definitely play with this card template again. It was a lot of fun and the possibilities are endless. Tammy cuties were perfect to hang from the mantel; however, I probably should not have lit the fire. I am sure babies in stocking hanging over fire is a prison sentence waiting to happen. (Don't report me.) :-)
Anyways, thank you so much for checking out my blog and may you have all the magic of the season, but not the cold weather. :-)

Scrap Orchard-Earth International-Frog
Greetings!
Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a blessed day. I am here to share with you another creation using artist's Sue Coccia line of digital stamps sold exclusively at Scrap Orchard. This week I am introducing her frog image which happens to be the Market pick over at Scrap Orchard. This beautiful frog, like all of Sue's work, is very detailed and gorgeous. Upon closer observation, you don't just see the frog, but the other whimsical animals that make up this earthly creature.
So hop on over to Scrap Orchard and pick up this adorable, versatile digi. I colored his entire body using Copic YG11 and then went back over certain areas like his fingers with YG23. Again, I find it better to color a lighter color and then go in with a darker colors to emphasize certain parts of the body. I used word art from Paulette over at Create with TLC and the swirly background designs can also be found over at Scrap Orchard.
Thanks for looking!!

Woohoo!! Happy 1st Anniversary Create with TLC CDAC Group!!
Greetings!
Today is the 1 year anniversary of Create with TLC's Group on CDAC. Paulette, the owner and creative genius behind Create with TLC, was gracious enough a year ago today to let me start the CDAC group. She has put up with me asking her for images for the challenges and for milestone celebrations and I do appreciate it. Well, this weekend we have been celebrating with flashbacks, freebies, and lots of fun! We have also been running a challenge over on Paulette's blog. She offered up two images and the participants had to choose one or both to make a creation. However, the only twist is that you had to create your own sentiment to go along with the image. There will be 4 winners and you can get all the deets here. Here are the prizes for the winners...
Here are my creations using the images (I will not be entering them in the challenge, but wanted to share them with you).

I wanted to keep my card fairly simple because I'm entering it in a couple of challenges. I added the angel wings because of the wording and the Create with TLC wordart is a perfect touch (in my humble opinion). *gigl*
Okay, now head over to Awesome Audrey's blog for the next clue to the Scavener Hunt and thanks for stopping by. :-)
Good luck and have fun!!

ADFD - Baby Wishes - New Release-Sweet Ingredient Challenge
Greetings!
T.G.I.F!! Today I want to share with you the new release from ADFD. There are two release sets called "The Night" and "The Day." Therefore, lots of fun images to choose from. Here's my creation using the "Baby Wishes" image from the Day set.
You can check out this set and many more here at the store. Also, Our challenge today is a* "Secret Ingredients"challenge. What this means is that if you take a look at all the designer's cards we all used one or both of 2 secret embellishments/techniques for our cards. Pull out your magnify glass and put your detective skills to work to discover what those to elements are and then use one or both of them in your creation.
You can link your finished projects up here at the challenge blog. Tammy was kind enough, once again to offer a freebie to everyone that participates. So no excuses for not joining in the fun!

My Mojo
Greetings!
My mojo hasn't been turned up on high lately. Luckily, since creating is a form of therapy for me, I seem to have gotten a boost. I think spending more time with my true love (God) has inspired me to create again. Therefore, this post is all my creations from yesterday.
The next 4 cards are images from Torico (Birdie Brown). I love these images because they are just too cute. The doughnuts make you want to grab a glass of milk and chill, right? lol Buttermilk glazed doughnuts are my fav. The sentiments are from Paulette at Create with TLC (except for the second picture...that ones by ME).

A new Digi Artist
Greetings and Happy Sunday!!
Where did last week go? Aarghh...back to work tomorrow. :-D
First of all, I am so HAPPY that I am 3 followers away from the BIG 100!! Thank you everyone! I am making the rounds to make sure that I am following you as well.
Secondly, I want to introduce you to a new digi designer I met at the annual Mega Meet event that takes place all over the country (I believe), Sue Coccia. Her artwork fascinated me when I first saw them. I loved the details and the intricate story that it told. She was selling rubberstamps and I asked her and her husband if they would considered doing digital stamps. They contacted Kami over at Scrap Orchard and *walaah*, she now has digital stamps. I wanted to keep this treasured secret to myself; however, I love my e-buddies too much so I am sharing them with you now. *gigl* My apologies because these pics do not do these images justice. You have to really look at the image and see the stories that unfold. I think the Gemini in me attracted me to these images because it is truly more than what the eye sees. You actually get multiple digis in one image.
You can get these beautiful images here from Scrap Orchard (and look around while you are there because there are some awesome goodies). Below are some suggested tips on how to color these intricate images. Of course these are only suggestions, because of the beautiful details they are sure to ignite your creativity!
Also, Kami are looking for a few good papercraft designers to work with the wonderful digis that the artist create on Scrap Orchard. Soooo...if you are interested let me know...cards by candy {at} yahoo {dot} com.
P.S. Once I reach the big 100, I believe I may give away one of these gorgeous images. So keep looking out. :-D

Coloring suggestions:
- I found that I like to color the entire image with a light color (Copics 000 or 0000) just to highlight the image.
- I then like to choose two or three of the major images within the image to color a little darker to make them stand out. I always try to choose a color that compliments the lighter colors.
- I like to add a little Stickles to certain areas to make it pop.
- These images are perfect for embossing. Embossing the image makes the larger image stand out.
- You could also just do a CAS card by using black and white with maybe a hint of color.

Today kicks off our blog hop over at ADFD and it is sweeeeeetttttt! lol You have a week to hop (July 8-14), and the DTs have put together some yummy sweets to inspire you.
The rules are that you MUST leave a comment at each
designer's blog. The grand prize for the hop commenting is the July Club
release. This release is my favorite of all of them so far and if you've seen Tammy's work then you know this is truly saying something. Tammy is providing 2 freebies for the participants to play along with for their
3 projects. The winner of that gets a $12 gift certificate for the shop. So here's the hop order...
Audrey is our guest designer for July and we are thrilled to have her so show her some extra LOVE!! Here are my three creations using the yummy cupcake set. These beatiful yummy cupcakes were a lot of fun to play with and I decided to make a card w/envelope, refurbished bottle, and a tent card that I love to put a ziplock bag of goodies inside to give-a-way. The sentiment for the cards wer courtesy of Paulette at Create with TLC. :-D
Thanks for hopping along with us and I hope you are inspired. If you like what you see, then follow me. I would love to have you as an e-buddy. Thanks again for joining us for the hop and tell your friends and leave some love for my fellow dters. :-D
Now get to hopping...

ADFD New Releases-Caterpillar Hugs
Greetings!
Happy 1st of July!! Woohoo, I have a totally packed weekend. I have a SUPER large family (17 of us) and on Monday we are getting together with all the kiddies for a cookout. I am in charge of grilling so it should be F.U.N. (frantically unpredictable nonesense). lol
Today I want to share with you the oober cute adorable new release from Tammy at ADFD. These images are so darn cute and I chose to work with the caterpillar hug. I have to tell you that I am an unofficial certified hugger. I have been told by little children and adults that I have the best hugs ever. I think the children like my hugs because it is like hugging an oversized stuff animal (I'm all soft and cushy). lol I imagine that the adults feel the same way. I'm not some freaky person that goes around forcing hugs on people...actually I am terribly shy. However, I have discovered over the years that a hug can really make a HUGE difference in a person's life. I thank God that he's blessed me with this gift. Just call me the Hug Whisperer. lol Okay, enough...here's the new release and my creation.

Aren't they adorable? There are a lot more in this set. Just go over to the store and pick up anyone (or all) of these adorable cuties. While you are there sign up for the club and get a ton of yummy goodies, plus some exclusive freebies. Once you are done with all that, then go over to the challenge blog and enter your creation for even more freebies!!
