Greetings!

The new Sizzling Summer issue of TTCRD magazine is out! Check out the video above. It is packed with all kinds of inspiring goodies and even freebies. You will also get to see the second in my 5 part "Getting Digi with TTCRD" tutorial on using digital stamps using a freebie from Create with TLC.

I'm back with another post! This week over at TTCRD we our honored to have SKdigis as our sponsor this week. I used the beautiful birdhouse with vines image to create my card.

Here's my creation...

I created this card by cutting out the shape on my Cameo and then creating several layers using dp from Heartfelt Creations paper collection.  I added the gate fence with flourishes.  I mounted the image in front of a diecut from Spellbinder's and colored the image using my Copics and then went over it with glaze pens and clear gel.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge. We would love to have you play along with us and it is always anything goes.

I hope your having a wonderful day! This week over at TTCRD we our honored to have A Day for Daisies as our sponsor this week. I was honored to work with the Fairytale Slipper.

Here's my creation...

Elegantly Ever After

I created this card using a multi-fold card technique.  I layered on dp pieces and white mat on each section of the card. The sentiment "Once upon a time...she lived elegantly ever after," is from Create with TLC. I colored my image using Copic markers. I finished my card with pearl beads and swirl diecuts.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge. We would love to have you play along with us and it is always anything goes.

TTCRD Challenge: Always anything Goes sponsored by Anne's Digital Art

Greetings!

I hope your having a wonderful day! This week over at TTCRD we our honored to have Anne's Digital Art as our sponsor this week. I was honored to work with Anne's lovely Daffodil image.

Here's my creation...

Dances with Daffodils

I started out with a 6x6 piece of yellow cardstock for my cardbase. I designed the card using my Cameo.  I layered a piece of dp paper behind the front panel.  I added some grey cardstock to the front panel of the card as well as used it to mat my image and sentiment.  The sentiment "And then my heart with pleasures fills, and dances with daffodils," is from Create with TLC. I colored my image using Copic markers. I am horrible with the names of flowers unless they are roses or sunflowers.  I kept calling this flower a tulip (I even put it on my watermark until I realized my error and changed it).  *smile*

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge. We would love to have you play along with us and it is always anything goes.

I hope your day is starting out wonderful and only gets better! This week over at TTCRD we our honored to have The Paper Nest as our sponsor this week.  I had the pleasure of working with the married couple for my creation.

Here's my creation...

"God Bless Wedding card"

Iniside of card
I started out with a 6x6 piece of black cardstock for my cardbase. I embossed a piece of shimmering cardstock and layered it on top.  Using my Cameo, I cut out my wedding couple, mat, wedding cake and embellishments.  I added some black gems to add a pop.  On the inside of the card I used a diecut to cut out the sentiment "God bless your love and marriage." The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Create with TLC. I colored my image using Copic markers.   I gifted this card to a friend who needed a wedding card.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge. We would love to have you play along with us and it is always anything goes.

TTCRD Challenge (June 18-24): Always Anything Goes

Greetings!

I hope your day is starting out wonderful and only gets better!  This week over at TTCRD we our honored to have Oozak as our sponsor this week.  I love purchasing my Copic markers from this store.  It is actually on a little over an hour from where I live here in Michigan and Rusty is always so kind and helpful.

I used the Vintage Flower Frame from Create with TLC and wordart to create my card.  My Supervisor is off on medical leave and I needed to make her a card so this was the perfect combination to let her know that we were thinking about her.

Here's my creation...

Vintage Flower Frame

Okay, I started out with a 6x6 piece of black cardstock for my cardbase.  I then cut alternating yellow and green layers of cardstock on my Cameo using the shape of the frame flower as the template.  The layers are all assembled using pop dots and the flower using puffy glue.  I then cut the frame out and also the flower itself.  I colored the flower using my Copic markers (purchased from Oozak) and added Stickles and a glossy gel.  I finished my card off by adding a doily, sentiments and dots made using my markes.  It was a very simple card to make.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge.  We would love to have you play along with us and it is always anything goes.

TTCRD Challenge: Always anything Goes! June 4th - June 10th

Greetings!

NOTE:  The new issue of Through The Craft Room Door magazine is out.  Check out the preview above by clicking on the video. :-)

I hope all is well with you today. It is time for another challenge over at Through The Craftroom Door and it's always anything goes. Our sponsor for this challenge is Rick St. Dennis Digital Stamp Art Design. I used his Rabbit to create my card. While Easter has come and gone this year, I combined his image with a sentiment from Create with TLC and I think it would work anytime of the year.

Here's my gift bag...
Silly Wabbit

I started out with a 6x6 yellow Bazzill cardstock. I cut the die using my Cameo and then added  some layers of dp from SU.  I used a acrylic box that I had in my stash to make the container.  I then took some leftover scraps of dp and made a ban across the tote.  I colored my image using Copic markers and popped him on the front.  I used a SU tag die to cut out the sentiment and them created a mat of green cardstock behind it. At first glance you might think that I put yummy chocolates inside; however, because I was being a silly wabbit, it has prunes inside. lol  What a perfect gift for the one I love. *smile*

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge.

TTCRD Challenge: May 21-May 27, 2013

Greetings!

I hope all is well with you today.  It is time for another challenge over at Through The Craftroom Door and it's always anything goes.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Michelle Perkett.  I used her Kissing Fish to create my card.  While this is a Valentine's Day theme card, I think love should be shown all year around so I'm sharing some fishy love with you in this creation.

Here's my fishy love card...

Kissing Fish
I started out with a 6x6 white cardstock using Bazzill cardstock.  I then layered on some red cardstock and two different dps.  I used my MS punch to cut out a white lace border to run across the middle of the card.  I used my Spellbinder's circle heart eyelet die to create the mat for my image and sentiment.  I colored my fishes using Copic markers.  I finished it off by adding some glass gel to the fishes fins and to the hearts.

I hope that you will join us for this week's challenge

TTCRD Challenge - May 7 to May 13

Greetings!
Happy Tuesday!  Today is my first post as a DT member for Through The Craftroom Door and our challenges are always "Anything Goes."  We are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and I used "Gus the Birthday Reaper" image to create a free standing pop-up card.
Hee's my creation...

I followed the tutorial found here to create the free standing pop-up card.  I started out using grey cardstock and layered on dp.  I designed the tag using my Cameo and colored the image using Copic Markers.  I finished it up by going over the image with gel pens.  I cut the lettering out on my Cameo and used the grey and some red cardstock.  I punched a hole through the top of the tag using my crop-a-dile and colored string using my Copics and ran it through the top.

Make sure that you join us for this week's challenge and check out the rest of the DTs inspiration creations here.
