Greetings!
This week over at ADFD it's a challenge week. Our challenge is "Feeling (& Folding) Fancy"! Make a fancy little card with any fancy fold you like! There are a gazillion (ok, maybe not that many) different tutorials for how to fold cards out there. I know I have written one or two in my day. I think folds allow you to take a plain old card and add an element of surprise and complexity to it.
Well, today I am going to share with you the pyramid fold (card) using one of the beautiful new releases from Tammy. So first of all here's my creation and then I'll share the oober simple way to make this card and some tips of other uses for this cards. :-)
My creation...
This week Tammy combined two of my favorite things angels and piano. I must say I LOVE angels and all things related. I have been collecting angels since I was a wee little one. I have over 100 different angels and can tell you the story of who gave them to me and what they mean to me.
Since I am a firm believer in not recreating the wheel, I have linked the directions to how to create this
simple card from StampOwl's Studios blog.
Once you have made this card, you will won't to make more. You can make a larger version of this card by doubling your paper size to 8 x 8. I created 8 x 8 pyramid cards, punched holes in the randomly and stuck lollipops inside to use as a centerpiece. Also, you can use the 4 x 4 size and use as nameplates for a dinner party or celebration.
Okay, now that you know how to make it and different uses for it; I hope you give it a try. Head over to ADFD challenge page and link up your creation. Also, check out the other cool images that Tammy has to offer.

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Candy! Sure doesn't look easy!
ReplyDeleteCandy, both your shaped card and this sweet image are wonderful, but the Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge requires you to use an animal image as the focal point of your creation. Still time to enter a card for the prize on offer, challenge doesn't until 8/31.
