Saturated Canary was kind enough to give away the adorable image that I used to create my card today. I know several of us have family members, friends, co-workers or someone who is suffering or has suffered from Cancer. I know I know way too many people that have been afflicted with this disease. My job actually participates in the Karmanos 5K walk and the 3 Day Walk to help raise money and bring awareness to this cause.
Here's my card...
I added to the popular saying, "Fight like a Girl...To Live like a champion." I truly believe these courageous individuals are champions! I layered dp from SU and Basic Grey. I used SU cardstock and rounded the edges. I stacked Bazzill cardstock, SU paper to mount my image on. I used Copics to color her up and added Stickles on the flower in her hair. I finished it off with a couple buttons and some twine.

this card is really meaningful and positive and also has a fun feel to it as well. I just love the main image and the way you have embellished the card.
ReplyDeleteI know alot of people who have been affected by cancer, I can't help but feel sad every time it happens. I really need to learn to be more positive for their sake and mine.
