Fight to Live

Greetings!

Saturated Canary was kind enough to give away the adorable image that I used to create my card today.  I know several of us have family members, friends, co-workers or someone who is suffering or has suffered from Cancer.  I know I know way too many people that have been afflicted with this disease.  My job actually participates in the Karmanos 5K walk and the 3 Day Walk to help raise money and bring awareness to this cause.

Here's my card...

I added to the popular saying, "Fight like a Girl...To Live like a champion."  I truly believe these courageous individuals are champions!  I layered dp from SU and Basic Grey.  I used SU cardstock and rounded the edges.  I stacked Bazzill cardstock, SU paper to mount my image on.  I used Copics to color her up and added Stickles on the flower in her hair.  I finished it off with a couple buttons and some twine.

One of a kind...

Greetings!

Today, I am sharing with you a very colorful, busy card which was inspired by the image itself.  I picked this cutie up from Saturated Canary.  I love how her images seem to be ethereal.  This particular image "Janessa" who I think is a Steampunk Hottie; however when I saw her she reminded me of a Fashionista.  I loved the layers of her skirt (I want this skirt) and her stylish hair cut reminded me of a runway diva if ever I saw one. lol  Anyway you interpret her, she is a BLAST to color up and definitely "one of a kind."

Here's my card...

I didn't use dp to determine my color scheme this time.  I just stuck my toes in the water and went for it.  I knew that I wanted her outfit to be bold, bright and yet very very sassy.  I started rummage through my Copics and dug out Y21 and Y23 (very similar in color) and then added some other yummy reds, oranges and BGs.  I used SU tag punch and CTMH sentiment "one of a kind," because truly it was a good fit.  I finished coloring her and then found dp and cardstock to compliment it all.  I added some twine, buttons and Stickles on the bottom of her skirt to finish it all off.  I think she is ready for the catwalk.  I know I would definitely sport this outfit.

Saturated Canary

Greetings!

Today I'll share with you an adorable little image from Saturated Canary.  I can't believe how many awesome stamp stores there are out there!  This little cutie was a freebie and I just really love her eyes.  I love her outfit too!  She was a lot of fun to color. I will definitely be stopping by this shop and picking up a few of these cute images.

I used Stamp'in Up designer paper on this card.  I loved the colors of the paper combo and decided to use it as the inspiration for my little girl's outfit.  I used the snetiment from Paulette at Create with TLC, which I cut out using a tag punch from SU.  I colored her up using Copics and embellished it with ribbon and a pink brad.
