I hope that you are having a FAB day, because I am!! Today I turn the big 40 and I am so excited, because the alternative just isn't acceptable. lol I have a weekend packed full of FUN. God has given me the gift of life and some added presents of blue skies and lots of warm weather. I thought this would be an excellent time to give-a-way some blog candy, because I would love if you parteeeeeee with me!!

Oh wow I get to be the first to wish you a Happy Birthday to a wonderful person. Let's see if I can even remember turning 40. I guess I would say that upon my turning 40 I was thankful for the wisdom and maturity that I had acquired. I learn that my parents really did know what they were talking about when it came to raising kids. lol. When I turned forty I realized that I was able to really concentrate on me. The kids were raised and Now It was time to focus on myself.
So I was ready for the next journey.
Happy Birthday Candy! Age is just a number it's in your heart that it counts. So keep a young heart by enjoying life and having fun!

Happy Birthday, my friend (and fellow purple lover) ! Turning 40 is probably no different than any other year. It's all about the journey, not the destination. At 40, the final destination is a long way off yet. Each day God gives us is another chance to shine , enjoy, and reflect His glory. My wish for you is to be truly 'Alive' every minute you live. ReplyDeleteI remember 40 quite fondly as it marked moving from the stage of raising my "kids" into the stage of watching them become the adults I raised them to be! It was the start of a delightful time of my life.
Happy Birthday!!! Oh gees, what do I want to do before I turn 40...hmmmm, I am really not sure :>) I have a few more months to decide :>) I would love to get a card published, so I guess I should start submitting!!!
ReplyDeleteI got married a few months after turning 40 and a whole new life chapter opened up and I've been writing it ever since. It's been wonderful, so the old adage about life begins at 40 was certainly true for me!!

I turned 40 a few months (10years) ago, lol! Always keep moving and exercising because staying healthy is soooo very important!
