Happy Tuesday! Today I want to share with you a card that is out of the norm for me. I wanted to enter ADFD's Club Kit challenge and the rules was to create a card with neutral colors and one other color. The Club Kit is this awesome tribute to silent black and white films. I love it!!
I chose an ADFD image from my stash and colored her up. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and quickly this card came together.
Here's my creation...
One of a Kind |
I started out with a Kraft card based. I layered on a sheet of dp from Glitz "Pretty in Pink" 6x6 paperpack. I then matted my image to blue cardstock. I colored my image using Copics. I thought it would be fun to use two different neutral colors on her hair. I then added my "other color" blue to her eyes using a Copic Spica pen. However, that wasn't enough for me so I added just a drop of glaze to her eyes which made them literally pop. I don't think you can see on the picture, but her eyes enlarged when I put the gel on them. I finished the card with a brown/white striped ribbon/bow. I also added a sentiment.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Love the pops of blue! Her hair reminds me of a girl on The Voice this year...
