Create with TLC: Wish you were Here!

Greetings!

It is that time of year when people are planning to take trips.  I am planning a couple of get-a-ways myself next month and then again in August.  I haven't been on a "real" vacation in forever!  Some day I would like to take a true vacation out of the country to Italy, Paris and possibly Spain.

The new flag set that Paulette over at Create with TLC has created is a good highlight of the places that I would LOVE to visit one day.  Check it out...

Flag Set
Here's my creation using the set...

I decided to use this oh so cute digi that I got from Milk and Coffee stamp store.  I have never used thier stamps before, but fell in love with ALL the Madeline stamps so I bought them all. :-)  I made a fairly simple card using a 6x6 dark brown cardstock based, layered kraft cardstock and then two different dps.  I matted my image on pink cardstock.  I added the buckle using the Kraft paper, because it reminded me of an old suitcase buckle.  I then added the 3 of the 4 flags that is in the set along the bottom of the card.  I colored my image using Copic markers.  The sentiment is also from Create with TLC.

You can pick up this set and see how the other DTs used these flags by clicking here.

Thanks for looking and commenting!
