Inktegrity's Hump Day Challenge #26: Non-traditional colors

Greetings!

Brrr...baby it's cold outside!!  It's 22 degrees here in Michigan.  I need my comfy warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate.  Well, maybe I will save that for the weekend, because it is Hump Day and that means that the weekend is only 2 days away!!  This also means that it is time for another Inktegrity Hump Day Challenge!!  First of all, congrats to the winner of last sketch challenge!

This week we are playing with colors...non-traditional Christmas colors to be exact.  We don't want the same old red, green and white...NOPE...this time we're asking that you shake some things up and throw in your fav colors for pizzaz!  I decided to use my niece's fav colors of pink and purple, because my card share this week is actually a treat box for her.  I used Joni's adorable "personalized" train digi!

I filled this little take out box with Maya's favorite double chocolate popcorn.  She will get a kick out of this and maybe I can even get her to share the popcorn. *gigl*

Well, now that you know what is expected of you...join us for the challenge and a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to Inktegrity store.

My apologies for posting this late, but I couldn't get my blogger to work.  It kept spinning, but wouldn't let me type.  Aargh!!

It is Hump Day again and I am so HAPPY, because it means I'm two days away from the weekend and it's Inktegrity's Hump Day!!  Woohoo!  We had an awesome turn out last week and we are hoping that you will join us again this week.  I bring to you this week the last penguin in the new release...baby Slusser.  However, before I get to all that, I want to take a moment and congratulate Kerry of Ladybug Crafts Ink.  Congrats Kerry!

Here's the sketch...
Here's my card...

Okay, now it's your turn...just head over to the DT Challenge blog and show us your latest creation. If you want to get your hands on this little cutie and the rest of this family, check him out here.

Inktegrity DT Hump Day Challenge #24: Anything Goes

Greetings:

Baby, it's cold outside.  We are expecting snow tomorrow for Turkey Day.  Me and cold weather don't mix well; however, hot chocolate does help.  Before I share with you this week's Inktegrity's Challenge creation, I want to say congratulations to Peggy of Colorful Designs for winning last week's challenge. :-)

I don't know if it is just me, but the days have been going by so fast that they are blending in to each other.  I can't believe it is time for another challenge.  Well, this week's challenge is "anything goes;" therefore, what ever creation you have whipped up we would love to see it.  Here's a little something I put together using Hot Chocolate Slusser.  I am obessessed with Joni's penguins. :-)

I didn't have any small candy canes.  When I give this away I will add little ones and the handle.

Okay, now it's your turn...just head over to the DT Challenge blog and show us your latest creation.  If you want to get your hands on this little cutie and the rest of this family, check out the store.

Inktegrity Hump Day DT Challenge #23: Sketch

Greetings!

Woohoo!  It is Wednesday!  Not only does it mean that it is time for Inktegrity's Hump Day challenge, but it also means that I am two days away from a week off from work.  Wooohoo!  I so need a vacation. lol

First of all congrats to E.T. of VIBGYOR Krafts!  She won the last challenge.  This week's challenge over on Inktegrity's DT Challenge blog is a sketch challenge.  Sketches are fun when you have an idea in mind of what you want to do, but just can't figure out how to lay it all out.  Well, there will be no excuses because we supply you with the template and you just add your creativity and *poof* a card is born.  I have chosen Hanna Star for my image, because I am so in love with Slusser, his sister Hannah and baby Hanna which  premiered last week in the Inktegrity store.  If you haven't checked them out, well you don't know what you are missing.  They are oober adorable...yes I said oober!!  TFL!

Come on over to our challenge blog here for some Hump Day Inspiration with this fun and versatile sketch. Please use Inktegrity images if you have them, but join in regardless! The winner receives a $5 gift certificate to Inktegrity store, as well as the free personalized train image. (I will be showcasing my creation with my train *fingers crossed* this week, because they are oober adorable as well!!)

Inktegrity's Hump Day Challenge # 22: Recipe

Greetings!

Okay, I am back again with another recipe card; however, this time it only has two ingredients...ribbon and flowers.  Over at the Inktegrity Hump Day Challenge blog we are asking you to create a card and just add ribbons and flowers.  Easy, right!  I would like to congratulate Sammibug who won our last challenge and will get to do some shopping over at the Inktegrity store.  Wouldn't like to join her?  Well you can have a chance to join her by entering in this week's challenge.

Before I get to my card sample for this challenge, I have to tell you about some more exciting news.  This week over at Inktegrity, Joni has been releasing her new images and I just LOVE them!!  They are these adorable penguins name Slusser (with hot cocoa), Hanna Star, and Baby Slusser.  I used Hanna Star for my challenge sample card and used the other two cuties to show you how stinking adorable they are.

I told you they were adorable!  You can pick up Slusser (and the gang) over at Inktegrity's store on Friday.  Check out the blog to see what the other DT have created with these adorable trio!

Also, I have some more exciting goodies to share with you, but you'll have come back tommorrow for those. I feel like I am Santa's little helper this week...Candy Clause...nice ring, right! lol

Inktegrity's Hump Day Challenge #21: Sketch

Greetings!

Happy Hump Day!  You know the first time I heard this expression was a couple of years ago.  I couldn't understand why people were saying this, but then I heard a local radio d.j. state that it was the hump in the week and you only had a couple days to go before the weekend.  It made a lot more sense to me then. lol

Anyways, it is Hump Day which means that we are kicking off another challenge over on Inktegrity's DT Challenge Blog.  We had a record breaking challenge last week with over 85 entries.  Let's see if we can top that record this week!

Congratulations to Gemma for winning the challenge last week.  You could be a winner this week by following this sketch and entering your card pic to the blog site.

Remember, you could win a $5 shopping spree at the Inktegrity store.  You don't want to miss out.

Inktegrity DT Hump Day Challenge #20: Anything Goes

Greetings!

I love taking train rides.  I've gone to Chicago several times on a train and also to Mississippi a couple of times.  I get a lot of reading done and see a lot of sites when I'm taking the train.

Well, my love for trains inspired my next card.  I used Inktegrity's ChooChoo train to create this tri-fold card with a twist.

I have lots of plans for this set.  However, I'll show you those at another time. :-)  Make sure you stop by the challenge blog and submit your entry for a chance to win $5 gift certificate to the Inktegrity store where you can purchase this adorable ChooChoo set (comes with a bunch of cool sentiments).   I created the sentiment for this card, because I included pumpkins and apples in my train.

Inktegrity's Hump Day Challenge #19: Sketch

Greetings!

It's time for a new challenge over on the Inktegrity DT Challenge blog.  Congratulations to last week's winner Scrappy of It's A Scrappy World!

This week is a sketch challenge and the card I created for this challenge is extra special to me because of the image I chose to use to create it.  I chose to use "Candy the squirrel."  Now mind you Candy isn't named after me, at least I don't think so, but we do have a lot in common.  We are both brown, we have big cheeks, and while I prefer my nuts drenched in chocolate and caramel we do have the love of nuts in common, too. *giggl*  Here's my sketch inspiration and my card.  TFL!

FUN GAME...Happy Hunting!

Greetings!

Do you remember in the doctor or dentist office they had those books where you had to count how many things were in a picture or what was different about two pictures?  Well, after I created my card using the Inktegrity Tractor image it made me think of how much fun I had with those books.  Here's the card I made using the versatile tractor image.  I also used 2 other Inktegrity images (other than the tractor) in this card.  The first person that can identify all of them correctly will get a freebie from me!  So head over to the store to identify the other images.  Happy Hunting!

Again, good luck and leave your email in the comments to collect your freebie.  Also, don't forget about the challenge that is taking place over on the Hump Day Challenge blog

"Hay Pumpkin"

Greetings!

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday!  I know I did.  We're having a little Indian Summer.  I never knew why they called it "Indian" Summer, but I sure love them!  I have been sharing with you some new releases from Inktegrity and I have some more.  This may be one of my favorites.  It is the cutest little Tractor I ever did see and what makes it even better is that you can add on to the tractor.

I used the adorable tractor added some hay and then some pumpkins...Hay Pumpkin. lol  I love how Joni has made this so versatile.  This would make a great little boy's card.  You can pick these cute digis up from the Inktegrity store tomorrow.  I would love to see what you come up with.  TFL!  Oh yeah, don't forget to enter the challenge going on right now.  You can find deets at the top of my blog under the Inktegrity page.

Inktegrity Hump Day Challenge #17: Sketch

Greetings!

There's a lot going on over at Inktegrity's blog.  First of all it is time for a new challenge.  Congrats to Marion E. for winning the last challenge!  This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.  Aren't sketch challenges fun?  I mean you don't have to figure out how to config your card you just have to choose your color combo (which is the most difficult part for me).  Anyways, here's the sketch and my take on it.

I love this dog and I imagine if I had a dog he would be really smart, because I am always in school or reading two or three books at one time. lol  The second card that I would like to share with you is from Inktegrity's new Release "Apple Basket."  I wanted to do a different type of card so I decided to do the hinged card using this adorable set.

Don't they look yummy?  Wouldn't they look even more yummy if they were drizzled with caramel, chocolate and sprinkled with nuts. lol  MMmm.  This adorable set (digi and sentiment) will not be available for puchase until October 10th, but it is definitely a must-have!  You can stop by the Inktegrity store and find several other must-haves.

Inktegrity's Sneak Peek Preview

Greetings!

Over at Inktegrity's blog, we are giving you a sneak peek at the new release "Pumpkin House," which will be avaialbe for purchase on October 10th.  I squealed over this cutie and couldn't wait to use it.  I kind of went outside of the box, as I am know to do and decided to use it on a gift tote I was making for a friend.

I was using a different camera to snap the picture so you can't really see the detail; however, if you visit Inktegrity's blog you can really see how adorable (and versatile) this image is.  The tote was something I just came up with.  I put Pepperidge Farm Milano milk chocolate cookies inside. I thought that this made a cute Happy Harvest Day gift and I hope the recipient felt the same way.  Make sure you stop by Inktegrity's blog on the 10th to check out all the awesome images Joni has come up with.  TFL!

Inktegrity Challenge 16: Fav Fall Colors

Greetings beautiful people!

I am always tempted now as an adult to jump in a pile of leaves.  Sure I may break my leg or hip, but the temptation is still there. Inktegrity kicked off another challenge and this time you are to use your favorite Fall colors and create a card.   I've had some serious personal problems going on so I am posting my creation late.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joni (the fab artist of the Inktegrity images) for being so understanding.  I am thankful to God for his mercy and grace that everything worked out.

In order to create my card I used several papers and colors (afterall it is a color challenge). :-)  I'm sure you have some fall papers stashed away, so pull them out and get to creating some wonderful.  You can post her card here.  While your at the site make sure you check out the beautiful creations from the other design team members (and leave some love) or click on their links on the sidebar. ------->
Also, you should stop by the store and check out these adorable images.  TFL!

Well, today is the first day of Fall (technically not until 11:09 p.m.), but nevertheless it is time for apple cider and falling leaves. My creation today was inspired by Fall and it was created using the layout from Inktegrity's Challenge for this week using this sketch.

Here's my creation based of the sketch using the image from Inktegrity.

Also, this week Inktegrity is sponsoring Corrosive Challenge again, the theme is to dust off anything old in your stash. So make sure that you stop by there and submit an entry.

"Hi there" from way up high!!

I love the "Anything Goes" challenges because then I am able to challenge myself.  I used my paper piecing skills on this creation and combined that with background digi paper from MS Word and of course the wonderful digi images from Inktegrity!  Walaah...here's my creation!

Okay, to find out how you can join in on this challenge just head over to the challenge blog.  While you are there, you can check out more awesome creations from the Inktegrity Fall Design Team, which includes myself!!!  Yes, Joni was so sweet to ask me to join her fab group of ladies.  I thank her once again for the opportunity.
