Greetings!
Okay, I must warn you that this blog contains a tempting image that you may or may not want to purchase. Please continue reading (and looking) only if you
will not hold me accountable for future purchases based on what you see. lol
I love finding new artists (new: I've never purchased or seen thier work). I really love artist that create images that challenge my creativity. The designs that Chelsea Le creates are just those type of images. She makes these gorgeous little ladies over at her Etsy shop
Pretty Little Stamps. I recently recieved an email from
I Brake for Stamps and they now carry her! Soooo, you can get these gorgeous images in digi or rubber!! I noticed she offers more designs over at I Brake for Stamps.
(Note: I do not recieve any type of compensation for promoting these stores. I just really like these images. *smile*)
Well, today I used "Cammy in the Wind." I intially chose this image because 1). it is simply adorable and 2). I thought her name was Candy. LOL! How very vain and self-centered am I, right?
(don't answer that)
Here's my creation...

Blown Away |

Well, recently I was asked what cardmaking "style" do I most identify with or like? The only way that I can answer that question is that
it depends on the image. The image dictates my style and that is always changing so my style is always changing. I do not gravitate to just one style. I love them all...it's the Gemini in me that makes me so indecisive. lol
I started this card out using a 6x6 Kraft cardbase. I actually colored up the image a week before assembling the card. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with her and once I colored her I was committed to this peach/baby blue color scheme. I hunted through my stash and pulled out this 2sided dp and thought it would work perfectly. I assembled the card layering cardstock and dp. I used my Tonic Tool to distress the ends of the papers and added white gel and Stickles to the edges. I applied SU ink to the edges and sponged it over the dp for a vintage look. I used Copics to color the image and added Stickles to her dress and flowers. The image and the mat were cut out using Spellbinders dies. I finished the card by adding pearls in the corners, flourishes (using Cheery Lynn dies) and flowers from my stash. The leaves were from a Marianne Dies set.
She blew me away when I saw her and the other cuties that Chelsea offers. I will definitely have to pick up a few more. lol
Thanks for looking and commenting.
